Lyttleton Port Harbour Live Web Cam

The port harbour of Lyttleton is where this live web camera is situated. Lyttleton harbour is the main sea harbour for the city of Christchurch and the main sea route to the other harbours in Banks Peninsula. There are regular ferries and sight seeing tours that leave Lyttleton harbour that go around the bays and different harbours like Diamond harbour.

Lyttleton Harbor is also a popular fishing bay and other water sports such as boating, water skiing and jet skiing.

Often big famous ocean liners and luxury cruise ships will visit the harbour.

Road access to Lyttleton is via the Lyttleton tunnel, or all the way around the port hills, through Governers bay and then into Christchurch city.

Our webcam is up high in the hill overlooking the harbour, at night you can see the lights on the boats in the harbour and the big spotlights light up the port.
